Ranbir Kapoor wants Brahmastra to ‘enter South Indian markets’: ‘We want our story to be seen by them’

At Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra Trailer led to a lot of speculation and musings on various theories among fans. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy, and is also expected to have a cameo appearance from Shah Rukh Khan. Brahmastra is expected to have a pan-Indian version in multiple languages ​​including Telugu and Tamil. In a chat with DT Next, Ranbir mentioned that the story is important despite the language in which it was told. He also said they found it very difficult to break into markets like Tamil and Telugu.

Calling Brahmastra a “film that must be seen”, he added that he wanted Brahmastra to break into the South Indian markets. “So I think we had the primary intention to do a story that was universal. Now, through marketing, taking the help of people in the industry in the South, we really need to break into this market because we want our story to be seen by them Brahmastra is Ranbir Kapoor’s return to the big screen after more than five years.

Brahmastra, which will be in three parts, stars Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva who possesses a super power in the form of ‘Fire Astra’. In the trailer we see Ranbir as Shiva and he explains that fire never hurts him. It’s in the second half of the trailer that we see him, along with Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna, protecting Brahmastra from Mouni Roy, who plays the antagonist in the film.
