GSN is seeking a detail-oriented Distribution Financial Analyst to join our Distribution Department. The position will be responsible for processing all monthly Affiliate Subscriber payouts into the Affiliate Revenue Database, Medea, for monthly close/billing. Additionally, they will develop and ensure best practices for maintaining data integrity across all resources and identifying and pursuing aging Affiliate balances/collections.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review affiliate payouts/variances for underpayments and pursue revenue adjustments if necessary.

  • Reconcile discrepancies in monthly subscriber reports and apply/maintain contracted rates in affiliate revenue database.

  • Create codes and protocols in Affiliate Revenue Database (Medea) to meet Affiliate contractual requirements.

  • Prepare and distribute various reports such as monthly subscriber summary for major carriers, subscriber variance for major carriers and non-affiliates/prospects; analyze, confirm and explain all material wins/losses and distribution events.

  • Provide ad hoc analysis/reporting to contribute to specific team initiatives and internal departments (Research, Finance, etc.).

  • Coordinate authorizations and technical support of affiliates related to GSN signals.

  • Maintain affiliate headend data for all systems carrying GSN signals.

  • Monitoring of the status of agreements under negotiation.

  • Ensure that the main contract report and legal tracking documents are up to date with the latest statutes and tariffs

    for all chords.
