Aon’s Kristen Doyle to be Honored by Women Investment Professionals

Kristen Doyle, Partner and Head of Public Funds at Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting, will receive the 2019 Distinguished Woman Investment Professional of the Year award Nov. 14 at the Women Investment Professionals’ annual Trailblazers dinner, according to a statement from WIP.

As Public Sector Business Leader and member of the US Investments Executive Committee of Aon’s investment advisory business, Ms. Doyle is responsible for new business development and thought leadership and led the integration of the Townsend Group, the real estate advisory firm that Aon acquired in 2017.

She is also a board member of Opportunity International, a global non-profit organization that provides loans and other financial services to lift the world’s poorest people out of poverty.

“Kristen is a wonderful example of someone who started in the back office and moved into a customer-facing, business development and leadership role within her organization,” said Susan Small, President of Women Investment Professionals, in the press release. “Kristen is known for both her high IQ and high EQ. She has shown that supporting women in this industry and devoting time to mentoring and sharing her experiences not only benefits those she mentors, but also rewarding, both personally and professionally.”

The Distinguished Woman Investment Professional award is intended to recognize a leading individual for her contributions and achievements in the institutional investment management industry, according to WIP. Nominations for the award are proposed by WIP members and ultimately selected by the WIP Board of Directors.
